HOW FAR, SO FAR SINCE INDEPENDENCE???

In the next five days, Nigeria will be celebrating 57 years of Independence. Since then, we have been forced to believe that Nigeria cannot rise above board, that our energy system cannot work, that we cannot have quality education as we have continued to lose our erudite and intellectual lecturers to other countries where their potentials are appreciated, that our roads cannot be pothole free, but death traps and slaughter slabs, that our electoral system will continue to be a hoax. Shall we continue this way? God forbid! Shall we continue watching political gladiators turn our government into a game only them can play? Every new government will promise heaven on earth only to end up impoverishing us. Where are the dividends of democracy? What has this government done to alleviate the sufferings of the common masses? With all the 7trillions borrowed by this government in the past two years, how has it positively touched the masses? Lord have mercy on your people because you are our only shield.
